A little about me
I am an American, originally from the midwest, and moved to Canada about 10 years ago to attend McGill University. After graduating with degrees in art history and political science, I worked in Quebec for over five years in marketing and sales and was a freelance writer on the side. I then met and married my Canadian husband, who is currently working in Chile.
I became fluent in French in order to work in Quebec and even studied Italian for two years in University. However, Spanish is the language I should have also studied, seeing as I will be spending quite a bit of time visiting Chile and travelling through Latin America in the upcoming months!
As a high school graduation gift, my middle school English teacher gave me Dr. Seuss’ “Oh the Places You’ll Go.” What a prophetic gift that turned out to be.
Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You’re off to Great Places!
You’re off and away!

I really like your blog, congratulations!
Thank you!
I´m chilean. Good for you. Congratulations.
Gracias!
Nice blog!
Thanks for your comment!
nice blog and beautiful pictures!!
I love your blog and I also have a well cherished and received copy of “oh, the places you’ll go!” I love chile and Argentina. Both beautiful countries with fascinating culture. I look forward to reading more of your posts!
Congratulations! Love what you’re doing, and thank you for sharing it with the world. I hope to travel through Central America someday, any chance you’ll be visiting there? If you’re going to Peru, I am somewhat acquainted with that country if you need a clue ’bout something. Buena Suerte!
Inspiring!
I’ll come too, if you don’t mind. To my great sorrow, or shame (or both) I never made it to South America, despite moving to Canada and living there for ten years! But that’s another story … Chile here I come (with you, vicariously, of course).
It is a great time to visit South America. Not yet completely overrun by too many visitors. You should visit sometime!
It’s still on my list …
